The AllRhythms Education Program is proud to announce that the 2nd Annual AllRhythms Performance Ensemble will be held this Friday, July 17th at 7:30 pm at the historic Austin Symphony Square located at 1101 Red River St., Austin, TX, 78701.

 

This concert will incorporate a wide variety of musical styles including classical, contemporary minimalism, traditional Mexican folk, American Civil War traditional, gospel, as well as classic soul and hip hop.

 

Participating students come from the Austin area including TA Brown Elementary, McCallum High School, Purple Sage Elementary, Fulmore Middle School, and Park Crest Middle School in Pflugerville.  

 

In addition to this 2nd annual youth performance ensemble, AllRhythms provides unique music and arts programming to Austin area Title 1 Schools (TA Brown, Govalle, and Langford Elementary Schools) as well as Austin Parks and Recreation Centers. AllRhythms has provided economically disadvantage youth with over $2500 worth of free private lessons just his year as well as take-home instrument support and repair. 

 

AllRhythms’s founder and Chief Executive Officer—Ian Fry—is a seasoned music professional with 23 years of teaching experience, two Grammy nominations as musical director for Austin’s own Tortilla Factory, as well as a substitute percussionist with the Austin Symphony.
